At the meeting, Bernard presents a preliminary study of the "DB long transfer line" (here are the slides).
Comments and discussion follow the presentation. It is pointed out that the resistive wall wakes, and the (longitudinal) space-charge effects may play a crucial role in the transfer line. Simulations of these effects need to be carried out.
